Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team. This role will involve supporting a range of military, aerospace, and space-level microelectronics and optoelectronic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose packaging solutions, define silicon chip attachment methods, recommend electro-optical testing parameters, and develop assembly processes to ensure successful program launches.
  • Monitor and review all program aspects to ensure adherence to schedules, mitigate risks, and recover from unforeseen delays.
  • Communicate program status to sales and customers, providing updates as frequently as necessary.
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure successful documentation, material procurement, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Provide ongoing engineering support for assigned programs.

  • Adhere to the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, reporting any quality issues promptly.
  • Be adaptable to changes in duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required; hands-on experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Product or Project Engineering within semiconductor manufacturing is essential.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as die attach, wirebonding, and hermetic sealing is necessary.
  • Technical expertise in microelectronics and photonics, particularly with silicon and related technologies, is required.
  • Knowledge of military standards is essential.
  • Experience with mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is preferred.
  • Ability to accommodate varying time zones for meetings is necessary.
