Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure Construction Specialist
At SpaceX, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure Construction team. As an Electrical Engineer - Infrastructure Construction Specialist, you will design, build, and activate some of the world's most technically advanced manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-power electrical systems that directly contribute to new construction projects.
- Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines to provide detailed electrical design and specification for the installation of electrical power distribution systems, switch-gear and motor control centers, exterior and interior lighting, and other electrical systems.
- Provide electrical engineering support to facility technicians to troubleshoot existing electrical equipment and controllers.
- Ensure that all electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and/or generators.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
