Job Description

The Multifamily Research team is the heart of CoStar, capturing market-critical information that enables our commercial real estate clients to make informed, high-impact business decisions daily. As a Multifamily Property Data Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with multifamily property owners and managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date property data.
  • Conducting daily interviews to obtain real-time property data, including number of units, model mix, rental rates, concessions, images, contacts, and overall building details.
  • Ensuring data quality and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Capturing and entering data accurately while understanding how it contributes to providing marketplace transparency.
  • Promoting the advantages of utilizing our suite of products to make informed business decisions and maximize marketing exposure.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 365, with experience in data analysis and manipulation.
  • A willingness to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
