Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Vac Truck Operator to join our team. As a Vac Truck Operator, you will be responsible for driving and operating equipment for a premier specialized construction support service position. The work can be physically demanding, but it is extremely rewarding, and your success will directly impact the environment and quality of water in your community.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and operate trucks and equipment, performing pre-trip preparations and post-trip clean up.
- Utilize equipment and tools to perform maintenance and repairs to stormwater management systems.
- Clean catch basins, manholes, hydro-excavate, and perform other duties as assigned and required.
- Properly prepare equipment and worksite on a daily basis.
- Class B Driver's License - air brakes and tanker endorsement required.
- Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck, or other related industrial experience.
- Background screening, driving record review, and drug test are all part of the pre-employment process.
- Ability to acquire a DOT Health Card and insurable status under the company's auto policy.
- Experience using various tools and equipment used in the oil, gas, and energy sector, including pipe and hand wrenches, hammers, shovels, and gas monitors.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, stoop, squat, carry objects, push, and pull.
