The role of the welder at Cajun Industries LLC involves the essential task of fabricating and repairing various metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities
The welder is responsible for:
- Installing, modifying, and repairing pipes, boilers, towers, heat exchangers, furnaces, drums, and other essential components.
- Setting up welding equipment and executing welds on pipe, plate, or structural steel using various welding techniques such as arc welding, gas-shielded arc welding, or gas welding.
- Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications to produce high-quality work efficiently.
- Performing basic piping installations and repairs, while assisting other skilled tradespeople as needed.
- Maintaining necessary certifications as required by the industry.
