As a Medical Assistant - Patient Care Specialist at Cleveland Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments.
- Prepare patients for procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer injections and apply dressings as directed by medical staff.
- Perform CLIA Waived tests and maintain quality controls.
- Order and maintain medical supplies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Verify and update patient information in our practice management system.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Process medical records requests and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred.
- One year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
