Anesthesiologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist Assistant to join our team at WVUHS Medical Group. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and anesthesia services in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
• Document patient information and anesthesia records accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of West Virginia or applicable state
• Board certification or recertification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
