About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Tooling and GSE Manager to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of tooling and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for our New Glenn launch vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, with experience in tooling design, GSE development, and project management. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to design, develop, and implement tooling and GSE that meets the requirements of our launch vehicle program.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of tooling and GSE for the New Glenn launch vehicle
  • Manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of tooling and GSE
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tooling and GSE meet the requirements of the launch vehicle program
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure quality and safety of tooling and GSE
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tooling design, GSE development, and project management
  • Strong background in aerospace engineering, with experience in tooling design, GSE development, and project management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CAD software and PLM systems
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience with tooling design and GSE development for aerospace applications
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
