At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Structures Technician Sr., you'll play a critical role in building human-rated Lunar Landers that will take us to the moon and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate precision tools and equipment for assembly and integration.
  • Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections to ensure compliance with engineering models and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to move and position hardware.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance area safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Knowledge of 3-D CAD tools and ability to read and interpret drawings and standards.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration.
  • Experience with composite and metallic structure fabrication, including precision drilling and cutting.
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment and familiar with tooling jigs.
