Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of Medicare claims to ensure compliance with Medicare rules, regulations, and requirements.
- Accurately document review findings and maintain a high level of review quality and production.
- Perform second-level inter-rater reliability (IRR) and difference resolution (DR) reviews as needed.
Requirements:
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Certification
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably in medical and coding reviews of various medical and surgical claims.
- Strong knowledge of the Medicare program, including coverage and payment rules.
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT-4, and HCPCS Level II coding principles.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present data and findings effectively.
