Position Overview

We are seeking a committed Customer Service Specialist to enhance our operations at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC. In this role, you will serve as the initial contact for patients and caregivers, delivering assistance and support in a dynamic environment. If you possess a strong desire to assist others and have exceptional communication abilities, this position is well-suited for you.

Primary Duties:

  • Efficiently manage incoming calls with professionalism.
  • Provide support to patients and caregivers by addressing inquiries and offering general assistance.
  • Promptly relay patient requests to the relevant clinical personnel.
  • Enter patient data into the electronic health records system accurately.
  • Recognize and escalate complex issues to the Team Lead or Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of physician schedules, clinic updates, and office procedures.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in medical office administration is preferred.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance practices.
  • Experience with medical scheduling and billing systems is advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic records systems and data entry is essential.
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm or higher is required.

This is a Full-Time position with no remote work option available.
