About the Role

Arcfield is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering and Technical Advisor (SETA) to join our Space and Mission Engineering sector. As a SETA, you will work closely with government stakeholders to provide systems engineering support for a major GEOINT processing acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide systems engineering support to the government, including coordination with development contractors to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies.
  • Utilize organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information to government stakeholders and other team members.
  • Actively participate in enterprise test forums and maintain engagement on test planning and execution activities.
  • Support developer teams through factory and enterprise-level testing events, ensuring developers meet requirements and validate mission needs.
  • Assess impacts from Requests for Change (RFCs) across the major GEOINT processing acquisition.
Requirements
  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 in a relevant field.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Thorough understanding of Full Spectrum GEOINT products and GEOINT radar processing concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of test procedures and processes, including factory and enterprise-level testing.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate mission impacts from changes to test responsibilities or scope.
  • Strong representational, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products.
  • Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and verbal forums with personnel at all levels of government.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience with the acquisition and maintenance of software development contracts or SETA experience.
  • Experience with Requests for Change (RFCs).
  • Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering requirements, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V).
  • Understanding of programmatic processes, including Risk, Readiness, Budgets, and Schedules.
