Position Title: Lead Statistical Analyst
Job Type: Contract
Compensation: $95/hr - $100/hr
Key Responsibilities:

- Foster a culture of employee engagement and commitment to excellence in execution.
- Serve as the primary global liaison for the Consumer supply chain, utilizing mathematical and statistical expertise to address technical challenges within internal facilities and external partners.
- Ensure uniformity across the supply chain by developing and implementing capability-building programs focused on mathematics and statistics through comprehensive skill enhancement and targeted mentorship.
- Review statistical software applications and methodologies for suitability.
- Collaborate across various departments to influence favorable project results.
- Articulate and present sound scientific concepts, evidence, risk assessments, and logical arguments to management and cross-functional teams.
- Work alongside project teams to determine suitable study designs and data collection strategies that align with established objectives.
- Identify, design, deliver, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs aimed at enhancing the statistical competencies of non-statisticians.
- Actively participate in project teams to identify scientifically valid data collection tools, ensuring that final analyses account for confounding factors and uncertainties, leading to defensible statistical conclusions.
- Coordinate with external partners to manage workload effectively.
- Develop innovative analytical strategies for practical applications.
- Contribute to various governance committees as an ad hoc member.
Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required; a Master's degree or PhD in Statistics or related Quantitative Sciences is preferred.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 6 years in Statistics or related Quantitative Sciences preferred.
- Experience in applied non-clinical statistics within manufacturing settings is ideal, particularly with pharmaceutical solids, liquids, and packaging. Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in ANOVA, regression analysis, variance components analysis, capability analysis, sampling plans, control charts, exploratory data analysis, and experimental design.
- Familiarity with mixed effects modeling and multivariate analyses.
- Ability to distinguish and communicate the differences between statistical and practical significance.
- Expertise in statistical software such as SAS, JMP, Minitab, or R, with a preference for Minitab.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is advantageous, particularly in Quality Assurance or Technical Operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated facilitation and organizational capabilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Comprehension of team dynamics and organizational behavior.
- Proven experience in conflict management and overcoming resistance.
