Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Care

Job SummaryThe RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes collecting data, analyzing assessments, identifying expected outcomes, developing individualized plans, implementing strategies, and evaluating progress.
In this role, you will work closely with our expert staff, including board-certified physicians in emergency medicine, to provide 24-hour emergency medical services to Stanly County and surrounding communities. Your skills and experience will enable you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Essential Functions- Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. You must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. You must also speak English in good, understandable terms.
Education, Experience, and CertificationsWe require a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is required per policy guidelines. Additionally, you must have a current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
