About the Role:- Transport Cargo: Drive a large truck to deliver and pick up cargo, adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor and maintain truck maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist with or oversee the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety standards.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled.
- Safety Compliance: Follow our Safe Driver Code, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- 5S Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as needed to support team and company objectives.
- Experience: Proven experience driving large trucks and handling moderately complex issues, with a commercial driver's license (CDL) and appropriate endorsements.
- Skills: Strong ability to interpret work instructions, follow both written and verbal directions, and exhibit solid decision-making and customer service skills.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a clean driving record and a keen focus on safety and efficiency.
- Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
