Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and wellness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Completion of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved Standards of Education.
  • 3 years of clinical work experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Current licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist status within the state of practice.
  • Advanced certification recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows-style applications and various software packages.
