Job SummaryThe Associate Director, Regional Marketing Conventions & Field Programs will be responsible for collaborating with brand leadership and Regional Marketing leadership to oversee and execute all aspects of field-based programs, product theaters, and national broadcasts in conjunction with the Brand teams. This position will manage the execution of all regional field programs and regional 3rd party engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with brand leadership and Regional Marketing leadership to develop and execute field-based programs, product theaters, and national broadcasts.
- Manage the execution of all regional field programs and regional 3rd party engagements.
- Develop and recommend events that drive key messaging, support strategy, and foster relationship-building opportunities with customers and partners.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships internally and across DSI's alliance partners.
- Develop and manage tools for tracking program execution and understand the needs of the Brand and the field when assisting in developing new speakers.
- Work with Regional Marketing leadership and other cross-functional partners in planning and preparing for key congresses.
- Conduct Regular Convention Logistics Status Meetings with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, agencies, and partners to review all congress initiatives, timelines, and deadlines for content and execution.
- Project management to ensure all business-critical deadlines are met for each convention.
- Partner with Marketing to best allocate promotional dollars between exhibits and conventions.
- Work with Regional Marketing Team to ensure Congress 3rd party strategy is sound and deliver on strategy through preparation and execution on those programs.
- Oversee brand field program allocations.
- Develop key tracking systems to keep the Regional Marketing Team and other key DSI functions aware of planning and progression towards Congress and 3rd party execution.
- Ensure projects are executed in a timely manner and delivered with the appropriate level of detail.
- Establish strong partnerships to ensure all DSI congresses comply and adhere with all rules and regulations.
- Support Regional Marketing with PGC reviews as needed.
Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
- MBA preferred.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- 7 or More Years of progressive sales, marketing, and/or communication experience or comparable education/work experience required.
- 4 or More Years Pharmaceutical industry and Conventions or Field Speaker experience or brand marketing experience required.
- 4 or More Years Oncology experience preferred.
- 4 or More Years of Pharmaceutical Marketing, including product launch experience preferred.
- Proven track record in developing strategic initiatives with cross-functional disciplines preferred.
Ability to travel up to 30%. Overnight & Weekend travel conventions and business meetings.
