Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a skilled care specialist responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients to determine medical problems/conditions and document in medical records
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations as needed
  • Review physician orders, lab requests, and follow-up needs with patients
  • Document services performed for billing purposes
  • Observe patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment to physicians, supervisors, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred
  • One to two years related experience and/or education; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing with applicable state

Work Environment:

The LPN will work primarily indoors in a climate-controlled setting. Team members may be exposed to blood and/or body fluids with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
