Position Overview:

The Retail Team Leader plays a crucial role in our store leadership, contributing to the store's overall success by promoting outstanding customer service, mentoring team members, and ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. Customer Engagement:

  • Facilitating a memorable and personalized shopping experience that fosters a connection to the Mejuri brand and aims to surpass customer expectations.
  • Expertly implementing and guiding others in our Sales Programs.
  • Staying informed and knowledgeable about all Mejuri products and recent launches.
  • Assisting the team in executing various customer-focused campaigns and nurturing relationships.
Sales Performance:
  • Ensuring that all business KPIs are consistently met, taking ownership of achieving strong results focused on both team and individual objectives.
  • Maintaining operational processes that positively influence sales, reduce expenses, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Collaborating with management to brainstorm and develop new sales strategies to attract and engage clients.
  • Driving business through client engagement, sourcing new customers, and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Overseeing sales floor operations, providing real-time coaching and feedback to support the sales team.
  • Offering valuable insights and recommendations on a daily basis.
Operational Excellence:
  • Supporting all operational workflows and adhering to standard operating procedures, including but not limited to: store opening/closing, merchandise management, sales floor oversight, and employee management to ensure daily business objectives are met.
  • Facilitating all transaction types within our OMNI business model, ensuring we exceed expectations with every interaction.
  • Managing inventory tasks, including shipping, receiving, and inventory transfers.
  • Collaborating with store management to identify opportunities for enhancing daily operations (e.g., systems, tools, processes).
  • Ensuring that the physical store environment is maintained to the highest standards.
Visual Merchandising:
  • Partnering with the Visual Lead to analyze key performance indicators and monitor stock levels to create an effective sales environment and determine actionable steps to improve sell-through rates.
  • Assisting the Visual Lead during the execution of retail campaigns.
  • Following up on deadlines for key visual merchandising initiatives to ensure timely completion.
  • Supporting the daily upkeep of visual displays and product presentation.
  • Reporting any damaged display items or tools to the Visual Lead.
  • Providing feedback to the Visual Lead regarding gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a high-volume retail setting.
  • Ability to adapt and think creatively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking skills to identify potential challenges and develop actionable plans.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work outside of regular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
