Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate chemical manufacturing processes in reactors, ensuring precise adherence to standardized formulas and protocols.
  • Oversee raw material charging, batch monitoring, and equipment operation, including forklift usage, in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Perform packaging, filtration, and materials handling with attention to minimizing contamination and ensuring product integrity.
  • Conduct minor maintenance and inspection tasks following safety checklists to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in the company's safety program regularly and adhere to all safety protocol and guidelines and report any safety hazards immediately.
  • Participate in small, self-directed teams during operational hours.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of chemical processes and reactions.
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for chemical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a chemical plant.
  • Troubleshooting skills to identify and address equipment issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of the Internet.
  • Developed mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
