Job Summary:

Candidates for the Maintenance Superintendent position at CCG Business Solutions, LLC will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring the smooth operation of rolling production equipment. This role involves developing and implementing long-term sustainability and reliability strategies, managing a team of salaried staff and support personnel, and developing resources to support equipment maintenance and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term sustainability and reliability strategies for rolling production equipment
  • Manage a team of salaried staff and support personnel, including developing behavioral competencies and providing technical expertise, guidance, and coaching
  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of the maintenance organization
  • Ensure the integration of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), preventative, and predictive maintenance activities across the rolling department
  • Participate in TPM, Kaizen, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) activities
  • Set and review annual development and performance objectives for the department
  • Develop and manage the department's business planning objectives tool
  • Manage the rolling department's R&M budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing industry setting
  • Minimum of eight years of maintenance experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience managing high-dollar department budgets
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent root cause problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Results-oriented
  • Strong logistics and planning skills
  • Ability to lead organizational change
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to identify and implement cost reduction initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rolling mill experience (metals or paper)

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
