Job Summary:
In our Community Forensic Program, we're seeking a highly motivated Associate Mental Health Specialist Forensic to join our team. In this role, you'll work under the leadership of our Community Forensic Director and be assigned to one of our outpatient teams.
You'll be responsible for receiving and preparing cases for psychological evaluations, creating forensic files, and ensuring receipt of all required documentation. This will involve frequent communication with other state agencies and various facets of the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives and prepares cases for psychological evaluations.
- Creates forensic files, including making records requests and setting up electronic files.
- Involves regular communication with other state agencies and the criminal justice system.
- Schedules evaluations, coordinating with defendants, psychologists, and other stakeholders.
- Scores psychological tests, if requested.
- Receives and distributes completed evaluations, closes files, and enters data into the system.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Juvenile Court procedures and the forensic mental health system. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, PeopleSoft, CONCUR, Kronos, and SharePoint.
