We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to our patients, providers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide complex patient/customer problem-solving and high-level discernment when registering patients in treatment rooms.
- Perform administrative functions, including scheduling patient appointments, managing referrals, and reconciling multi-department deposits.
- Obtain insurance authorizations and verify prior authorization for patients.
- Responsible for complex EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax faxing and uploading to EPIC.
- Identify and remind patients of health maintenance gaps.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, or lab service support.
