Key Responsibilities

The Financial Reporting Manager will undertake the following critical tasks:

  • Consolidation and Reporting: Independently manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and internal management accounts. This includes identifying unusual fluctuations in accounts and validating the accuracy of financial data.
  • Process Optimization: Enhance and automate the existing monthly consolidation process to improve efficiency.
  • Balance Reconciliation: Collaborate with regional teams to review and ensure the accuracy of balance reconciliations, promoting global consistency.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Oversee intercompany balances to ensure they are accurately recorded, reconciled, and settled in a timely manner.
  • Annual Financial Statements: Lead the preparation of the annual financial statements for the consolidated group, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide expert advice to finance and accounting teams on accounting treatments for routine and exceptional transactions.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake special assignments aimed at process improvement within the accounting function.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in global consolidation and reporting, preferably with a Big 4 or leading public accounting firm.
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented individual capable of influencing and collaborating effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
  • Proactive and adaptable to change.
