Job Overview

FEV Tutor, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead our global accounting and financial operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing complex financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving financial accuracy and efficiency across our U.S. and India businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • Manage the month-end close process for the U.S., India, and consolidated financials.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly comprehensive financial reporting packages.
  • Develop and implement internal controls and safeguards for revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures.
  • Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure timely annual audits with no material weaknesses or deficiencies.
  • Establish relationships with the U.S. and India accounting teams, fostering trust, and encouraging professional development.
  • Coordinate annual audit processes and manage tax returns to ensure compliance and optimal strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, India, and International accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a private equity-backed growth company.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 842.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate timely financial reporting packages.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience working with international teams and consolidating financials into U.S. GAAP.
