Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States. As a Wound Care Center LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide wound-related patient care according to Basic Life Support (BLS) and approved hospital protocols
  • Assist in vein clinic as assigned after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training
  • May assist with intake and discharge, as well as case management under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Gather patient information and necessary equipment and supplies for the RN or provider
  • Report quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager and communicate with team members regarding therapeutic interventions
  • Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy related duties and hyperbaric safety director duties, as needed
  • May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics policy
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state-approved educational program
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
  • Two (2) or more years of experience as an LPN/LVN, including one (1) or more years in a SNF or LTACH setting
  • Wound care experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated competency in BLS
  • Organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

This position is primarily indoors and involves working in a patient care environment with exposure to hazards, mechanical equipment, and proximity to moving objects.

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $25.87-$32.18 per hour, based on potential employee qualifications, education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
