**About the Role**
The Laboratory Services Director will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of Laboratory Services across the entire health system, including 2 major hospitals. This includes developing and implementing plans to improve quality, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and articulate the mission and vision for Laboratory Services
- Develop financial and budget targets, as well as quality measures
- Interface and communicate regularly with patients, customers, employees, and management to ensure customer/patient satisfaction
- Effectively manage change, facilitate innovation, and foster teambuilding to provide the highest quality and most cost-effective laboratory product possible
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in clinical laboratory sciences or a related field
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS
- At least 7 years of Laboratory Management experience
