Laboratory Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to lead our laboratory services team in Southern Arizona. Our award-winning health system is recognized for its wide range of services, including emergency care, neurological, women's health, cardiac, orthopedic, and primary care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, management, and financial success of our laboratory services across two major hospitals. This includes developing and articulating our mission and vision, setting financial and budget targets, and implementing quality measures.
The Laboratory Director will also be responsible for ongoing interface and communication with patients, customers, employees, and management to ensure customer/patient satisfaction. Additionally, they will effectively manage change, facilitate innovation, and foster teambuilding to provide the highest quality and most cost-effective laboratory product possible.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or a related field (Master's preferred)
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS
- At least 7 years of laboratory management experience
