Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Holly Springs KinderCare. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and supporting the growth and development of our centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, promoting a love of learning and a strong foundation for future academic success.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and thrive, with a focus on promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Parent Partnerships: Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children, and to support the development of strong, positive relationships between home and school.
  • Center Success: Support your centers success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and by contributing to the development of a positive, inclusive school culture.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, and contribute to the development of strong, collaborative relationships that support the growth and success of our centers.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service Skills: Outstanding customer service skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain, and meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or willingness to obtain.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or willingness to obtain.
  • Physical Abilities: Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
  • Language Skills: Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
