Job Summary
The Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing EHS programs, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing training to employees on EHS procedures and protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports related to EHS activities and communicating with regulatory agencies as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS programs to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Provide training to employees on EHS procedures and protocols, including emergency response and hazmat handling
Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHS activities, including incident investigations and corrective action plans
Communicate with regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address EHS concerns
A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
