Registered Nutrition Specialist

Carespring is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical nutrition management and individualized food service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and update patient care plans to ensure optimal nutrition care.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Medicare PDPM system to ensure accurate patient data capture.
- Document patient information in our electronic medical record system and utilize meal planning software to ensure proper patient meal needs are met.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to promote optimal food service operations and ensure a high-quality dining experience for our residents.
- Attend meal services and actively participate in solving meal service issues.
- Work with our facility to maintain dietary cost control by balancing nutritional care with supplement usage.
- Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure effective nutrition care.
- Maintain a professional leadership role and effectively solve problems related to nutrition and dietary services.
- Licensure in the state of practice.
- Detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills and reliable attendance.
Carespring offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $79,000 based on licensure and experience. Our benefits package includes low-cost, high-quality medical and dental insurance, as well as a clean and state-of-the-art work environment.
