Patient Access Specialist

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be responsible for performing admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks
- Provide proper patient instructions and collect insurance information
- Receive and process physician orders and utilize an overlay tool
- Operate the telephone switchboard and relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls
- Adhere to policies and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire
