Director of Design

Chobani is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Design to lead the design strategy and execution for La Colombe, a leading coffee roaster. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive design vision that aligns with the company's brand identity and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the overall design strategy and execution for La Colombe, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Manage and mentor a small team of designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
- Oversee the development and execution of design concepts across various platforms, including packaging, retail spaces, digital assets, marketing materials, and more.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand representation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and differentiation in our design approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a design team.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing brand identities across multiple channels.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, with a focus on branding and packaging design.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) and understanding of digital design principles.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity with business objectives.
