About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Director to lead our design strategy and team at Chobani. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive design vision that aligns with our brand values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall design strategy and execution for La Colombe, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
  • Oversee the development and execution of design concepts across various platforms, including packaging, retail spaces, digital assets, marketing materials, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand representation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and differentiation in our design approach.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed, maintaining high standards of creative output and brand integrity.
  • Champion a user-centric design philosophy, incorporating customer feedback and insights into design decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a design team.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing brand identities across multiple channels.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, with a focus on branding and packaging design.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.) and understanding of digital design principles.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity with business objectives.
