The Bank Cashier is pivotal in ensuring the seamless and effective functioning of the Cage, Vault, Main Bank, and Marker Bank. This role involves meticulous tracking of coin and currency, ensuring accuracy in all cash transactions, and providing support to the Cage Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain optimal levels of coin and currency in the Cashiers' Cage, Vault, Main Bank, and Marker Bank.
  2. Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  3. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  4. Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  5. Follow established policies and procedures diligently.
  6. Ensure proper functioning of automated Currency Transaction Kiosks and Jackpot machines.
  7. Prepare and verify coin shipments and currency bank deposits accurately and on time.
  8. Organize vault contents for efficient counting during shift changes.
  9. Complete all necessary paperwork, including cash count sheets and bank summary sheets.
  10. Respond promptly to telephone inquiries and forward necessary paperwork to accounting.
  11. Safeguard assigned cash drawer and casino assets at all times.
  12. Perform reconciliations of automated jackpot machines and CTKs as required.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of all Casino Operations data.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check and obtaining a license from the appropriate authority.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
  • Previous experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Mental/Reasoning Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and perform advanced math skills, along with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
