Customer Engagement: Must possess a friendly and upbeat demeanor when interacting with guests. Ensure prompt greetings within a few seconds and strive to leave a lasting positive impression of the Wingstop experience. Promptly inform the General Manager of any guest concerns and resolve minor issues with a positive approach.
Financial Oversight: Responsible for managing cash flow, property, products, and equipment; driving sales while controlling labor and food costs.
Operational Excellence: Uphold operational standards and requirements within the restaurant; identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department; ensure all facilities meet Wingstop's company standards. Facilitate effective communication from the General Manager and District Manager to all team members. Utilize company resources to mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing restaurant team. Ensure compliance with all risk management protocols.
Essential qualities include a guest service mindset, the ability to remain calm and tactful in challenging situations, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with urgency and thoroughness. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and self-improvement. A strong work ethic and an outgoing personality are crucial. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant settings is required. Strong communication skills, initiative, and interpersonal abilities are essential for conflict resolution and team motivation. A passion for hospitality and guest service is vital, along with the flexibility to work varied schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
