Job Title:

Department Manager - Cell & Molecular Biology Method Development and Validation Expert

Job Summary:

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to lead our Cell & Molecular Method Development and Validation team in Lancaster, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and validation of cell and molecular methodologies, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and health and safety regulations, and managing a team of laboratory professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and health and safety protocols
  • Manage a team of laboratory professionals, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and training
  • Oversee the development and validation of cell and molecular methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders on technical matters
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Biology (preferably Molecular and/or Cell) from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5 years analytical Biology experience in a cGMP environment or equivalent training experience with > 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
