Role Summary

The Customer Service Representative (Recruiter 2) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients through various communication methods for Carter BloodCare (CBC) and associated blood center partners. This position is pivotal in addressing donor inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

In addition to recruiting donors for special orders, this role involves executing administrative duties and special projects, providing coverage for Recruiter 1 roles, and contributing to training initiatives. The Customer Service Representative (Recruiter 2) also serves as a mentor and guide for Recruiter 1 staff, offering support in recruitment strategies and day-to-day operations.

Consistent full-time attendance is essential during standard working hours.

Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bilingual (Spanish), preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of demonstrated customer service experience
  • A minimum of 2 years in a call center environment
  • Experience in training, preferred
  • Capability to fulfill the essential functions of a Recruiter 1 position
Skills and Competencies
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, including effective service recovery
  • Adaptability to various personality types
  • Team-oriented approach to completing assigned tasks
  • Strong active listening skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain focus and stay on task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), as well as call center software and equipment
