Role Overview
The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing profitable sales through the establishment and nurturing of high-quality relationships with both new and existing clients. This position leverages company resources to deliver tailored solutions, generate sales, and ensure outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate products effectively, highlighting their features and advantages.
- Expand the customer base by acquiring new clients and upselling to current customers.
- Collaborate with management and team members to strategize and implement effective sales plans.
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate products, utilizing internal resources and supplier expertise.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs to offer customized solutions.
- Facilitate communication with clients throughout their purchasing journey.
- Work alongside management to address and resolve payment issues promptly.
- Gather market intelligence and report findings to management regarding competitors and industry trends.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and expenses.
- Coordinate with vendors to introduce and showcase products to customers.
- Utilize digital tools and customer solutions to maintain a competitive edge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or the electrical industry.
Skills and Attributes
- Positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of products and applications relevant to the industry.
- Self-motivated and proactive.

- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
