We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and designing transmission line projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and analyze transmission line projects to ensure they meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Design transmission line systems, including route alignments, plan and profiles, and structural analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors, clients, and other design disciplines to ensure project success.
- Lead meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to review project needs and coordinate field conditions.
- Research and resolve issues related to transmission line projects that impact individual projects.
- Write and edit technical reports and engineering studies.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and design packages for transmission line projects.
- Produce technical presentations and design drawings.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in transmission line design and construction, with experience in utilities and underground transmission lines a plus.
- Existing Pennsylvania or Florida professional engineer registration (P.E.) or ability to obtain within six months of starting work.
- Ability to travel 20% to industrial worksites to support project work.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
