Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the production workflow. This role involves communicating schedules and objectives to team members, training new hires, and interpreting company policies. The supervisor will also address job-related issues, organize the work environment, assign tasks, and evaluate employee performance. Key responsibilities include managing the sign-in and sign-out process for truck drivers and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to production and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area at all times.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Keep management informed of operational activities and progress.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years of leadership experience in a production setting preferred.
  • Attention to detail and precision in task execution.
  • Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret both oral and written instructions.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows applications (Excel and Word).
  • Basic math skills, including understanding ratios and percentages.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
