Raytheon Careers is seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Wet Process Engineer Lead to join our III-V process development team working on gallium nitride-based devices and III-V focal plane array fabrication within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer to lead and execute process development efforts, assist in process sustainment, improve product yield, develop new processes and device capabilities, and assist in the creation of new technology discriminators in a III-V semiconductor wafer foundry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop proof of concept demonstrations of novel semiconductor processes
  • Identify yield and process improvement opportunities
  • Gather sponsorship and team resources
  • Execute on continuous improvement activities
  • Work well in small, cross-functional teams
  • Assist in pursuing contract R&D
  • Assist in transitioning processes into production
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years' of prior work experience
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience
  • PhD and a minimum 3 years' of prior work experience
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques such as photo lithography, dry etching, wet etching, plating, metals evaporation, and optical or scanning electron microscope inspections
  • S. government issued security clearance is required post-start
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in STEM
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques in wet etch, wet cleans, and plating process areas
  • Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment
  • Experience with statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods
  • Experience utilizing data analysis software packages
  • Collaborate and lead and coordinate technical projects with diverse and cross-functional teams
What We Offer:

Raytheon Careers offers a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, relocation based on candidate eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
