Role Description
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our Finance team.

The Staff Accountant collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the timely and precise reporting of all financial statements, banking activities, compliance, and external tax obligations, while also assisting the Finance team in ensuring the accurate coding and reporting of purchasing and payable transactions.

In this capacity, the Staff Accountant will oversee the monitoring and analysis of cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, record and report sales tax, conduct account reconciliations, manage project closures, and generate reports. Additionally, this role will provide support for budgeting, cash forecasting, and annual external reviews (i.e., Bonadio).


This position also serves as a backup for the Accounts Payable Specialist and Accounts Receivable Specialist as needed, ensuring the timely reconciliation and payment of all approved expenditures, as well as the billing and collection of all receivables.

Compensation for this role ranges from 56-75K, commensurate with experience.

For 30 years, Vince Leonardo managed the in-house tradeshow department at Rochester, New York-based Bausch & Lomb, a leading supplier of eye health products, including contact lenses, lens care products, medicines, and implants for eye diseases.

When the company decided to outsource the department, Vince founded RES (Rochester Exhibit Services), with Bausch & Lomb as his first major client.

Vince also established an event company, LT Rentals, to cater to both consumer and trade event needs.

Today

Both businesses have thrived, and after 20 years, Vince passed the leadership of the company to his son, James Leonardo, who has successfully guided the growth of RES, positioning it among the nation's top 50 tradeshow and event organizations, as recognized by EVENT MARKETER magazine.
