Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cleaning services, adhering to infection control policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment. Additionally, you will be expected to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
  • Work collaboratively with the EVS team to ensure efficient performance of duties
  • Follow all hospital and departmental policies and procedures related to the housekeeping function
  • Read, understand, and follow manufacturer's directions for chemicals and equipment used
  • Protect confidentiality of hospital and patient information
  • Protect physical assets used in the job, using supplies sparingly and accounting for them accurately
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Two years of experience providing environmental services in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to read, write, and converse in English
