Project Engineer Job Description

VECA Electric & Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting the Project Manager with completing all aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager with tracking, auditing, and reporting on daily project activity, including cost controls, schedule compliance, productivity, quality scope definition, and scope additions/deletions.
  • Perform project setup duties as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining records and reports essential to the effective operation of ongoing projects and assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Produce project-based reports internally and externally.
  • Assist the Project Manager with overseeing the coordination of project scope with the Project Team, Operations Department, and the Purchasing Department to achieve maximum efficiency and cost management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the construction industry or a degree in a construction-related field.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite and Bluebeam.
  • Must have strong leadership skills, strong oral communication skills, active listening skills, and excellent writing skills.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with a variety of personalities.
  • A self-starter who will work proactively with the Project Manager and team.
