Calibration Specialist

Express Calibration Services, a leading provider of critical calibration and repair services, is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team at our Kansas City, Lee's Summit, MO facility.
Job Summary:The Calibration Technician will calibrate and repair a variety of test and measurement equipment with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Calibrate electronic and mechanical measuring and test equipment
- Perform AC/DC low voltage calibration on multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, and voltage calibrators
- Calibrate RF frequency measuring and generating devices, including spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, and counters
- Calibrate temperature and humidity devices, including data loggers, environmental chambers, and ovens
- Generate and calibrate test and measurement equipment, including Meggers, insulation testers, hipot testers, and mill-ohmmeters
- Provide training to entry-level calibration technicians
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent required
- Commercial or military PMEL or TMDE experience preferred
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment required
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems
- Ability to read and understand schematics and follow written procedures
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. unassisted daily
