We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a school-based setting in the River Ridge area of Louisiana. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.

About the Role

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity that involves evaluating students for speech and language disorders, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct speech therapy services. You will collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and provide input on educational strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students for speech and language disorders using standardized assessments and tools
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in various educational settings, including classrooms, clinics, and online platforms
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create an optimal learning environment for students with communication challenges
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
Qualifications
  • Louisiana SLP licensure required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP certification preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience working in school settings is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
