Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in the River Ridge, Louisiana area. This school-based role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate students for speech and language disorders using evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in various educational settings, promoting effective communication and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress and ensure a comprehensive approach to education.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Requirements
  • Louisiana SLP licensure required.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • SLP certification preferred; CFY candidates will be considered.
  • Previous experience working in school settings is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions.
