Mechanical Maintenance Lead

ICP Group is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities at our Seaford, DE plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the plant operates at the highest level of uptime and efficiency while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coordination: Under the direction of the Plant Manager, coordinate and guide all maintenance activities from start to finish, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Maintenance Operations: Perform all maintenance functions within company-defined Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, including installation, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment, such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and filler lines.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide supervisor or management with repair solutions, including parts lists and timelines.
- Electrical Maintenance: Perform electrical maintenance tasks, such as wiring motors, VFDs, control panels, and other lower-voltage items.
- PLC Logic and Hardware: Troubleshoot PLC logic or hardware issues associated with automated process equipment.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain the maintenance shop in a clean, organized, and professional condition, following all safety requirements for hazardous materials.
- Documentation and Communication: Ensure all documentation for LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, and other related safety documents are completed before performing any work, and maintain effective and positive communication with production staff.
- Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks on key plant equipment and ensure completion of those tasks.
- Safety and Training: Strive to meet safety targets or objectives set by the supervisor or management, and continuously develop maintenance staff through coaching and training.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years performing mechanical duties in a manufacturing or similar environment, with experience as a maintenance department supervisor or previous lead mechanic.
- Skills: Highly experienced background installing/repairing air pumps, PD Pumps, pneumatic valves, gearboxes, and experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Education: Advanced education or training in engineering, mechanics, or technical-related fields.
- Physical Demands: Ability to safely lift in excess of 70 pounds without difficulty, full range of motion, and ability to work in awkward positions.
- Other: Must have 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision, and ability to interact with all levels of plant personnel in a positive and productive way.
