Job Title: Clinical Analyst - Lab Information Systems (Anatomic Pathology)

About the Role:

The University of Miami Health System, UHealth, Information Technology Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Clinical Analyst - Lab Information Systems (Anatomic Pathology).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for designated clinical application systems.
  • Augment and facilitate the design, development, implementation of enhancements to existing business systems.
  • Facilitate database conversions and perform system analysis.
  • Lead software upgrades and testing from an application perspective.
  • Coordinate software updates and changes, review and test each new release, and report application system testing results.
  • Perform periodic checks to ensure that data is entered and retrieved correctly and that all regulations regarding confidentiality and security are being followed.
  • Understand change impacts and resistance and formulate strategies with key stakeholders to address impacts and build commitment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare or a healthcare-related organization.
  • Beaker AP Certified (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with lab workflows, regulatory requirements, integration points, and patient experiences.
  • Experience in anatomical pathology and lab practices.
  • Experience with AP Information systems.
  • Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills.
